Cinnamon & Cocoa Rolls

Ingredients

      For For Dough
  • All purpose Flour3 cups and some extra for flooring
  • Active Dry Yeast1 Teaspoon
  • Sugar4 Tablespoons
  • Salt 1 Teaspoon
  • Butter4 Tablespoons
  • Warm Water 1/2 cup
  • Warm Milk 1/2 cup
  • Egg1
    1. For For Filling
  • Powdered Cinnamon1 Tablespoon
  • Cocoa Powder1 Tablespoon
  • Sugar4 Tablespoons
  • Cardamom powder1 Teaspoon
  • Melted Butter4 Tablespoons
    1. For For Glaze
  • Sugar1/2 cup
  • Milk2 Tablespoon
  • Vanilla 1 Tablespoon



Instructions

  1. For Dough:  Mix yeast, sugar and water then add in salt, egg, milk and butter then fold the flour to make dough. Cover and let it rise in warm place.
  2. For Filling: Combine cinnamon, sugar , cocoa and cardamom and set side.
  3. Now roll out the dough about 1/3 inch and spread with butter then sprinkle the cinnamon & cocoa filling. Roll up tightly, Seal well by pinching edge of dough into roll. Cut into 2 -inch slices; place cut sides down in pan. Cover again and let it raise for 30 minutes.
  4. Pre heat oven and bake at 220 c for 20 minutes.
  5. For Glaze: Mix sugar, milk and vanilla and cook over medium heat for a minute to make the glaze.
  6. Pour the glaze over the rolls and enjoy.
