Crispy Samosa

    Ingredients

        For Dough
    • Flour 1, 1/4 cups
    • Oil or ghee1/4 cup
    • saltTo taste
    • Cumin Seeds1/2 teaspoon
    • Water1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons or as needed to make soft dough
      1. For For filling
    • Boiled Potatoes, chopped roughly4
    • Onion, chopped2
    • Boiled Peas1/2 cup
    • Fennel seeds1 Teaspoon
    • Fresh Chilito taste
    • Mix Spices1 Tablespoon
    • Oil4 Tablespoons
    • Salt to taste



    Instructions

    1. For Dough, Combine oil, cumin seeds, salt flour and  rub well.
    2. Sprinkle water and make hard dough.
    3. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
    4. For Fillings: Heat oil saute onions, add and Combine all the ingredients and set it aside.
    5. Making Samosa : Divide the dough into 4 and make balls and roll out one ball using rolling pin into oval shape. (see pictures)
    6. Cut the rolled out dough cut into 2 semi-circles.
    7. Now take the semi circle shape dough and fold it like triangle. Look at pictures.
    8. Take a tablespoon of filling and make a ball and put it inside the triangle, then take the semi - circle shape part of the dough and fold to seal it.
    9. Heat oil and deep fry the samosas in oil until golden brown.
    10. Serve it with chutney or ketchup.
